no, cos you will scratch back to a hardtail in 6 months.
full sus are ok for downhill..........end of.
The main difference between a hardtail and a full suss in my experience is that now you get to stack your bike at much higher speeds

I have been riding a Cotic Soul for last year, after several other hardtails, but have just bought a Specialized Camber Expert which has definitely improved my riding on technical stuff. When i've gone back to the Soul i've found i've increased my confidence fromn the full suss enabling me to ride bigger stuff.
You can never have too many bikes anyway?
I sold my piggie, just running FS and SS now (plus tandem and CX). Too many bikes, not enough time to ride
