What should I do with this 29er XC bike?
😉
Dirt Jumps obviously, unless you have an old Carerra hybrid you can use instead
Steerer needs cutting down a bit.
Maybe do some jumps?
You could probably hide a troll behind it?
Must resist the temptation to
a) ask if it's done any sweet jumps
b) buy it, I do actually want a cheap light-ish XC bike to replace my SS.
erh - have I seen this before ?
Over the other side of the river from me.I wouldn't walk alone there at night.DO NOT TOUCH.
I wouldn't pay over £195 for one of those
I must be missing something really obvious? It looks just like a normal, used Boardman 29er...
Had one for a while, decent bike?
My sense is if you bought that you’d have bought the WRONG BIKE! 😂😂😂
NO WAY! Wasn’t that over a grand new?
What am I missing? I have one of those, and it's great...
puzzled as to the issue?
Seller likes singletrack mag according to his profile.
Not sure he likes the forum though...
For the puzzled these two might help....

Don't say I didn't warn you.

Sweet jump!
To be fair, I've actually got a Boardman 29er, the newer green one. That's a great bike for £250. Looks well looked after too.

Those threads are great! Has to be a troll though surely.

Can't be the same one
"I certainly won’t be selling it" .. 4 days ago!
Big bare patches in the lawn and the wardrobe and bedroom doors are different shades, for those reasons I'm out.
I don't think it is, the bike's posed next to van which implies the owner is old enough to drive. Can’t be the same one
Also the Stem is different as is the saddle so I does not look like the same one - I think the OP has been unfortunate to post this so soon after the other two...
Stem is different
but he did say that he had a new stem on the way
tyres are different...
FB one has the OEM cranks. STW one has SLX... FB one is in Glasgow... STW looks suspiciously local to here (long way from Glasgow)

He said he was 30. Just has big strops like a 14 year old.
Weird coincidence, I thought it was the troll too at first.
C'mon chaps; stop dithering - you know you want to buy it so get your bids in now.
