A wee spin into Corrour to test out the Nano 40s. Another fabby day in the Highlands (21C in Aviemore).

A nice 75 mile round trip to see the Kelpies. Please excuse the rim stickers, they will be coming off.

How was your Monday?

Not as picturesque or as warm as yours - is that Scotland's summer over for another year?
Winter gloves and shorts; now unwinding with a beer - bizarre Guinness-brewed lager.

Oh, and how were the nanos? Slight regret in not buying them when [s]DFS[/s]Planet X had them reduced.

I was hoping that at least one person would get the movie reference 🙂

[quote=drlex ]Oh, and how were the nanos?

V nice. It's a very hard-packed track and they are remarkably fast. After a thread discussing tyre pressures last week I'd topped them up a wee bit but I think I'll take them down to around 30/35 again.

My Monday involved an over heated training room and Day 1 of a three day First Aid at Work course.

It had better be 21 degrees in Aviemore in August. Just saying...

I had the day off in Bristol on the singlespeed and the SS Gt Brit. Great day. Nowhere near 21 degrees though.

The very same.

Of course, I had neither photographer nor tripod with me so I had to fashion a little temporary camera stand from some snow 🙂

Sat staring at Excel spreadsheets all day, so pretty crap. You live in a beautiful part of the world Scotroutes. I can't wait to visit it again as soon as possible

Great title and pictures. I still haven't made it there, i figure the kids will be old enough for that sort of low level adventure before long.

Was sat in the car listening to some people on the radio blathering on about bidding £750 for some broken pool cues

A few years back we got the train in to Corrour to climb one of the Munro's. As well as a quantity of hillwalkers like ourselves there were a fair few ned's (for the want of a better description!) with poly bags of booze who seemed intent on re-enacting the Trainspotting "it's shite being Scottish" scene.
