[#3710474]

Had the final parcel delivered on Wednesday (I've given up buying bikes for Lent 😆 ) . . .

[IMG] [/IMG]

Stripped it down and planning on selling most of the new original parts (see my classifieds ads or get in touch if there's anything you're after) and building it up with my Lyriks and Raceface kit.

First job - swap the 12mm dropouts for q/r Dope Lite so that I can use my existing wheels . . .

Why are your selling the wheels, logo/valve is bang on

Nice frame - huge rockers!

Bed sheet could do with an iron though

Bit of everything . . . as usual. Still have my BMX for the commute but I'll be fitting my U Turn Lyriks to help me get to the top 😉 . Not too bothered about weight (my builds usually come in at around 35lb) but that box was damn heavy when it arrived.

I've seen them mentioned on here before, but those alloy Hope crown race reducers are a great little piece of kit. Fits over your existing 1 1/8" steerer to accept a 1.5" crown race . . .

[IMG] [/IMG]

My logo/valve alignment is always spot on 8) . Wheels are a bit over the top for me so they'll be listed on eBay on Sunday complete with tyres - 20mm front, 12mm rear with Maxxis Minion 2.5s.

No list at the mo' just a pile of bits . . . watch . . . this . . . space!

Oh, and you think the bed sheet is bad - you should see the floor underneath it 😆

You weren't lying.

Excessive wear from too many bike builds maybe?

It's a 2011 Stinky TL - the last planned Stinky incarnation I believe.

Almost there . . .

[IMG] [/IMG]

. . . but I've a feeling that the rear brake hose may be a little short - I have a new spare but I'm impatient 😕

Can't yopu just cut out the middle man and go on the road as a pro wrench? I'm sure Mr Dirt and kidz won't mind....

The tyres are both Maxxis Minion DHF 2.5. Happy to sell the pair for £40 posted (can include tubes too).

Time for a doughnut break before fitting the new hose 😛

I do like the look of that frame, soon to be superseded by the 'Entourage' I believe innit?

Surely you need the long brake hose for pulling awsome bar spins... Right?

Are they super tacky or 60a? Folding or wire? I am guessing they are probably dual ply?

The tyres are wire bead and I'm guessing single ply. No mention of compound on the sidewalls as I guess they're OEM tyres (just listed as Minion DHF 2.5 in the Kona Techbook)- definitely not super tacky - they feel pretty much the same (maybe slightly harder) in the pinch test, as my 60a Swampthings.
