Oh Bugger ๐
That dreaded urge has just returned, I don't bloody need anything but I sure as ****ity want to buy some Mountain Bike stuff.
What tips can the esteemed members of the board offer a weak minded component slut like myself?

Whats the reason you want to stop buying things? Having trouble paying the bills or feeding the family, if not then crack on.
I get this all the time and more often than not succumb to it! Which will explain the Garmin 800 sat under the desk I picked up at lunch that I really don't need as I have a 200. I'm also trying to fight off the nagging urge to buy a set of Pikes to replace the Revs that are currently in use and not a year old!
Edit: Listen to Gary, he talks sense ๐
Not really having trouble but certainly should be saving for other things.
Oh and the Mrs is on good terms with the postie now (not like that) so I can't get away with it as much.
It's the coupling of a lack of need and the huge sense of want that is irking me.
Who else suffers from needlesscomponentry disease?
I totally get the Pikes thing fathomer, I reckon there must be thousands of other blokes currently trying to justify the need for a pair of those bad boys ๐

I suggest you grow up and get your priorities right then.
Buy things second hand? More for your money and salves your conscience.

I suggest you chill out, and get off your very serious high horse.
