.. yes, after months of puncture free riding, tonight was a puncture fest! Five of the buggers! (One chap had 5 thorns in on slime!)

just had my first Wednesday night after 2k+ commute miles. Gert big staple finally got through.
The wind often blows a lot of branches and stuff onto the trail causing punctures like that. 🙁
Lucky for us it happened last night then and not on Monday!
Moley's puncture was nothing to do with the weather. The sidewall blowout he had was due to his tyre being even older and fatter than he is. It was quite crunchy under wheel though with fallen twigs and branches. I was expecting broken spokes after a big one flicked up into my rear wheel.
