For cleaning brakes and services forks etc?

yep i reckon theyd do the job, i use ipa for cleaning my discs
I use mud for cleaning my discs.
they are small only a maybe 3 cm x 5 cm or something similar - but yes they will do fine
bend & replace is my cleaning method
..wayyy too small to be of any use!

Clean brakes after bleeding etc.
Plenty of IPA/rubbing alcohol on eBay or Maplin for an aerosol.
I have used them to clean brakes - its possible. one swab per disc
A big bottle of isopropyl would make more sense really
I have a couple of Fibrax swabs that I keep in my riding pack, although I've only had to use one in about five years - was glad I had it, though.
For general maintenance, it makes more sense to me to get a bottle of IA and use a cloth. The swabs fall apart quite easily when used on a brake rotor. It's worth bearing in mind that you should really only clean a rotor if it has become contaminated with oils. Mud/dirt will be removed/obliterated by using the brake. IA isn't essentialas hot soapy water (and rinse) will remove brake fluid; but it does have the advantage of being a much tidier/drier way of doing it.
As above, get an aerosol from Maplins. I can get Isopropanol wipes from work in foil sachets, they are around 20cm square and are still a bit small to clean a grubby rotor.
Spray with a clean rag is much easier.
