Our tiny creature has inherited a well loved Isla Rothan - I believe it’s an early one (08?) - grey with a 1” threaded headset.
The original semi-slick Innova tyres are pretty shot and I hoped to change to soemthing a bit more suited to woods-riding. However when I tried some specialized rhythm tyres on they’re super baggy and won’t seat on the rims without the bead bulging off.
Sizes on the sidewalls are:
Innova 12 1/2 x 1.75 (47-203)
Spec Rhythm 12 x 2.00 (50-203)
Can anyone offer any insight? Are the Isla rims slightly smaller than normal? Can I put something else on there or is this a whole new set of standards I wasn’t aware of? 😂🤦🏻♂️
From what I can see the bead of the Innova tyres looks physically smaller And the overall diameter is smaller...
