For my Dad to ride, mainly road (pot holey) and tracks, in Greece.
At around this price.
The BeOne 29ers at Merlin look an awful lot more bike for the same (or even less) money....
Those BeOnes are a fork upgrade away from a quality bike for next to nothing,.
Cheers, will take a look.
Blimey!
Blimey - there are none?
This thread may just have cost me £499. Been looking for a budget XC 29er for a while, apart from the fork the Beone CRD comp looks amazing value, as do the others in the range to be fair. Shame there doesn't seem to be any information/reviews about them on the web anywhere though
That pinnacle looks good, looks a bit less "racey" than the beone....I like.
Bought the beinn for the wife a couple of years ago, bloody good bit of kit, really nicely made frame, I have eyes on it to either single speed or hub gear it when the bits run out.
Mainly bought it as the frame is designed to be upgradeable, but saw a review of it last year and it was awarded best budget MTB.
Very impressed
Ah Merlin
Must learn to read
