[#596860]

Just come to take the cranks off a mates bike and have found that they are the splined ISIS style, rather than the old square tapered ones that my crank puller was designed for. Does anyone know if Park made an adapter to screw on to the end of the square puller to fit ISIS? Or do I have to go buy a new puller (or rather my mate has to ๐Ÿ™‚ )

Stick a 10mm socket in to give the crank puller something to push against.

appropriately sized drill bit in the hole works well (or anything else that fits)

Don't think that you can put a 5p in there to push against. The crank will come off eventually, after you've knackered the tool and stretched the 5p over the end of it. The next time you use it, you'll wedge the tool in the BB axle and strip the threads on the cranks.

That's what I did, anyway.

Though, I've been told that two 5p coins works fine.
