Set up is Hope mono mini pm caliper on PM-IS adaptor, 160mm rotor, want to change the rotor to 183mm, can I use a PM-IS 180mm adapter or does it really have to be a 183mm one (hope only make silver adaptors for 183 front and I want a black one) so was gunna by a shimano one or infact any one that comes in black

Get a few washers. That'll make up the difference.

I think it depends, i've got away with a 200mm rotor and 203mm brake on the front but a 180mm rotor and 183mm brake on the rear didn't work. Try it, if it doesn't work buy a rotor, ebay seems to be about the cheapest around.
