Who has time to read one of those when riding along?

Soon to have pride of place aboard every boardman in the land.

They seem a bit wordy. Which would supply plenty of riding-into-the-back-of-a-car potential.

I'm sorry officer. I was reading the motivational sticker on my top tube. It was so inspiring that I sort of got lost in the moment and drifted off, then BAAAANG! Will the ambulance be long? Its really starting to hurt now.

You'd have to be a right punter to have something like that.

Great find Muke. Being fanciful, tending your bike planters could be a new form of tamigochi (sp?). I can envisage hardcore niche rules where you're only allowed to give them sunlight and water by riding. Leave your bike unridden too long inside and they die, too long outside and your bike gets overgrown. I'm only joking ok, but they're a rather wonderful idea. Installation art?

Edit: Oh, and of course they bring your bike alive ๐Ÿ˜‰

Well, they may be utterly pointless and nobody has time to read them, but a few people seem to like them, and they don't even ride boardmans.... Maybe there is something in them?

I like the 'Pedal Damn It' ones. I considered getting something like that for my bike along the lines of 'Pedal Faster, Fattty'

Those in the OP are too wordy, but aren't as pointless as that stupid curved sag ruler thing that keeps popping up in the ads.

Worse. They've gone for a Sky replica Pinarello.

I could do with "don't look here" on my stem, for those remembering to keep the chin up moments.

I'd like a Mint Sauce sticker on my top tube. Does anyone have a key ring I can borrow so I could copy it?

A sticker? Bit posh )

I did write 'Well then..' on my bars with marker pen once for MTFU motivation, reminded me of a good friends' attitude to sorting your sht out when needed.

This one seemed to work for a certain rider with nail-like constitution

I have a nice Ridgeback top cap that just says 'Go Further'. It's been on a lot of my bikes.

Lets be honest about this: Say you were stood chatting in the pub and someone started to vocalise any of the cobblers in those ****y stickers, you'd make your excuses and move yourself away from them pretty sharpish. And if they then tried to follow you, still engaging you in flowery nob-wofflery, you'd punch them and make a run for it

All motivational slogans are a bit ****y TBH, or at the very least not particularly "British"... Leave that sort of things to colonial types

I would consider applying Harsh, Demotivational stickers to my bikes with something like this on them:

"Everyone Hates You!"

"Everyone can see the outline of your genitals!"

"Pedal as fast as you like, you'll never outrun THE SHAME!"

"This Bike makes you look even Fatter!"

" I'm going to punch you in the scrotum!"

As it is my kids keep wanting to put Peppa Pig stickers on all my bikes, I think the contrast of unpleasant personal threats and children's TV characters would set any bike off nicely, and give any potential thieves real pause for thought...

Idle john, excellent.
And I can't imagine ANYbody on sky appreciates that sticker, or feels it has any value to their performance. They probably just think it's a bit gay.

ones that make me laugh are the ones with the flag and then their name on the top tube.

must get confused in the shed unable to find their bike amongst all the identical ones.
