[Closed] Is this tent a better option than bivi & tarp?
For trips in North scotland? Escape from rain & midges? Seems a good light tent (960g) for not a lot of money £60.
Opinions please 🙂

I would always rather a tent for remote areas. that looks like a single skin so condensation may be an issue and its very small with no porch
Still - strong , light , cheap pick two
Looks good vfm and under 1kg too.
For the north os Scotchland it would be ideal.
As TJ says, it's single skin so something like a Hunka might also be a good idea.
I use a Vango Helium 100, picked it up for £90 online.
Ideal Scotland bivi tent
It was online from Field and Trek
I have a Rigel X2, I got it cheap from a mate unused, I've tried it once in the garden on a dry summers evening and awoke with the bottom 2/3 of the roof dripping in condensation (the top 1/3 has venting mesh) it would be a great tent of the venting mesh went full length, something I may try to alter on mine with some diy.
