[Closed] Is this rear mech bent?

take it off and put it on something flat...  alongside the spare one you have... and compare them.

I think holding a straight edge up in the photo would have helped 🙂

Looks bent slightly inward

Take it off and check the hanger, even take it to a LBS and get them to put their alignment gauge on it.

not sure, the real issue is lack of gear cable end cap!

Please excuse the stupid question but how would a straight edge have helped.

I have checked the hanger which is fine.

Chances of it being straight are slim to nil. The question should be, is it straight enough?

Any shifting issues to tell is about? If it works well enough, it's straight enough.
