That Chicksands one isn't funny, you don't even see it, and the aftermath looks painful.

That faceplant had to hurt.
One of my riding pals went back for a check up after a crash which smashed his helmet. A month after the crash they concluded he's brocken a bone in his neck. He was out riding last week, but the pain saw him turn back. He's usually a chatty chap, but he has been really quiet lately. I hope his enthusiasm for the sport isn't broken too.
