[Closed] Is there an easy way to tell if my fork bushings need replacing?

Like it says really, ideally without dismantling the fork!

Just got some second hand forks and they're great and appear well maintained but dunno what the bushes are like. If I ride for a couple of months before getting them fully serviced and the bushes are knackered will/could I damage the fork? They're fox F100s and I'm slightly weary given the amount of chat on here regarding the ease of damaging fox stanchions....

TIA

Might be a good chance to learn how to service forks, I reckon.

I've done the same thing, bought some revelations second hand, they seem to be working fine, i'll wait a few months before redoing the internals.

if they're really worn you'll feel them knocking a bit like a loose headset. Worth opening them up to check/refresh the oil anyway though
