If there is, I haven't heard it. Replaced an Ionic Team seatpost on my MTB with a Doric Team due to some surface wear from seatpost. After several weeks of taking it apart, greasing, putting back together, taking apart, using carbon paste, putting back together, taking apart..... ad infinitum.... I managed to get it to be quiet. For now at least.
That's all - just wanted to say that.
