I am now running an x2 on my lid which is pretty spotty and it slightly dominates my old magicshine light on the bars so i think i may replace that. Is the x3 more of a flood type or spotty light? Any suggestions for a cheap headlight only deal that is floody and compatible with magicshine battery, i am talking chinese ebay cheap prices or close to.
On a side note to this, does anyone know why all c and b seen lights are out of stock? It looks like they might be having issues with transporting batteries or is it something else?

Can't answer your question directly, but my solarstorm x6 is very "spotty".
I have an x3. More floody than spotty for sure.
Lots of Chinese lumen from its old laptop battery. 🙂
Cheers olly, i might give it a try. Thankfully i have a decent set of batteries so hopefully wont be riding at night by chinese fire light!
The x3 I have is more spotty than the x2 strangely. Needed a new charger and spare battery anyway.
