I think so, not enough for a full on rant but how do I find the difference between all the Revelation and Sektor models?
They seem to recycle the same description for all models? RL vs RLT for instance.
So travel, weight, QR options and such like aren't mentioned there at all? ๐
And something useful like a range wide decriptions, say like RL, RLT, RLT Ti is of no use?
Sektor:
R = rebound
RL = Motion Control
TK = Turnkey
Revs
RL = tooled flood gate
RLT = externally adjustable floodgate.
RLT Ti = Black box MoCo
World Cup = Carbon crown/steerer
XX = XX MoCo
XX World Cup = XX Moco & Carbon crown/steerer
Ahhh you spoil my fun Stoner, to expand on what you said though:
RS model's IIRC its seemingly:
RL - (old SL) standard MoCo, & tooled floodgate (adjusted with 2.5 mm hex key internally)
RLT - (old Race) standard MoCo, & external floodgate
RLT Ti - (old Team) Ti Blackbox, dual flow rebound assembly, lighter and perform alot better
XX - XX Moco, which is slightly stiffer compression, dual flow rebound, and the xloc hydraulic lockout
R = Rebound damping, though as I say I'm not sure what this alludes to.
TK = TurnKey, the next step up in their damping systems.
MoCo = Motion Control, there std damping system, a step up from MoCO
Blackbox is there top damping system.
All the info's there on the site though.
Though quite what "R=Rebound" quite mean has mystified me (not enough to research it though) & how it compares to Tk damping..
I have had plenty of RS in the past and bought a set of 2009 Revelations back when it was fairly easy to understand. (U-turn Y/N, Maxle Y/N, Poploc Y/N)
Does R not mean adjustable rebound damping using the motion control system?
Which system is used by the dual damping?
Why call blackbox Ti? initially that seems to be Ti springs but I guess its team issue?
Internal floodgate doesnt seem to be an issue unless you are XCing to me.
I will look again but whichever model of Revelation I click on will give the same description as any other.
