hi all.anyone been up to the marin.
if so is it worth a trip out tomorrow or do you still need a rescue dog..

Marin was ace! Frozen ground with a dusting (cm or so) of snow made for some surprisingly grippy trails. No ice to speak of apart from a couple of patches on some of the fire road climbs. The final descent was mostly snow free (as were most of the trails under tree cover) and FAST FAST FAST!
