[Closed] Is it possible to shorten Formula hose from caliper end?

I say this as I cant get the FCS separated from the hose nut, its seems too tight and I'm damaging the FCS when I clamp it into some grips (I assume the hose nut screws out the conventional way?).
My other option is to cut the hose and unscrew the FCS and left over hose separately, maybe even doing away with the FCS.
Thanks

Yes but you need the full hardware kit not just the olive and barb, on mine the caliper end was a crimped on bit so you need to cut it off and fit a new full kit like This one with the o rings, banjo and compression nut..

I think so, if the hose is the same diameter it should be ok..
