Was thinking of heading there on Sunday, does anyone know if its rideable, and if the roads are clear to get to it?

Thanks,

I guess nobody knows, I would imagine the ground is frozen solid, but that woudlnt be too bad as long as its not really icy/snowy.

the ground will be frozen solid and covered in snow it was -8 in Skipton last night and around -2 right now, gisburn isn't far away. we had a fair bit of snowfall on Tuesday which hasn't gone away. which roads up there have been cleared I don't know.

if you can find the tele no for the Dog and Partridge in Tosside, they are very bike friendly and will give you a conditions report from the doorstep.

according to the pub:-

"There are quite a few people biking and saying its good fun"

So, I reckon I'll give it a go

There's a possibility of some snow on sat, but temps are forecast to rise above freezing, a little.
Sunday for Skipton and Settle, Yorkshire Dales
Dry and sunny with excellent visibility. Still cold with light to moderate northerly winds. Lying snow will persist with icy conditions
