Open through the week in the winter, anyone been? Thinking of going there tomor, but their website says its only open at weekends in the winter?

Yes. The tracks are never "closed". If the gates aren't open to vehicles then park at the bridge.

The gates are always open to vehicles as there are quite a few houses within the estate. It's always open.
