[#397664]

I was looking at CTC cycle insurance as I have just built myself a new bike after my last nice one was pinched.

It just doesn't seem worth it they can change there regs any time without notice, i need a five lever mortice lock where it's stored and the bikes value depreciates giving me less. Would it be better just to save so in the unfortunate event I can just buy again. Or will they actually pay up.

Putting it on the house insurance is not an option.

Putting it on the house insurance works out a lot cheaper than paying for additional, separate insurance in my experience...using M&S Insurance or Greenbee (aka John Lewis).

My house insurance won't cover all mine in the shed, and a seperate insurance policy would cost silly money. I've speant a few hundred on locks and will put money into savings as my own insurance.

http://www.almax-security-chains.co.uk/ or anything with a 16mm diameter link or over is pretty much cropper proof (chainwise)
