Has anyone any experience of the following:

Maps kept on the phone make it look more practical.

£25 for the south west, seems worth a punt. I know what I'm using my iTunes voucher for...

National Parks is half price right now, might take a punt later if it works with iPod touch

Wondered the same myself. Certainly looks a nice idea, not sure whether a dedicated gps wouldn't be more practical though?

Quite big apps, the national parks one is just under 1Gb.

If you have memory map, you can use QCTviewer. Only £5, then upload mm maps. It doesn't track or record you, but will use the gps to show your location

Bought the National Parks one and used it yesterday. Its not as good as a dedicated GPS system, however used in conjunction with maps and also common sense its a great piece of kit. At last its made the iPhone GPS of use to me and I am delighted with its functionality....

Buy without hesitation...
