hi - looking for recommendations for iphone earphones - the noise canceling type with mic so i can answer the phone while riding (without stopping and getting into my bag). i have seen these - http://store.apple.com/uk/product/TW403ZM/A?fnode=MTY1NDA1MA&mco=ODAzOTczMA&s=topRated but unsure about wind noise while riding - any experiences???? cheers in advance.
Probably as good as you'll get for the money. They all suffer from wind noise to a greater or lesser amount TBH. I use Sennheiser, and they're OK at loud volume, but unless I'm off road I tend to have them set so I can hear traffic, and that means wind noise I'm afraid
I use the Sennheiser MM50 iP Headset for iPhone & think there about the best available, not as noise cancelling as others normal headphones I've used but the sound quality is better & mic works well. Well recommended & available cheaper (amazon?) than the apple shop price

riding with ear phones in is very dangerous............
like riding off rocks in the dark........... ๐
I use these

but wouldn't use them on the bike, you won't hear any traffic or roadnoise.
I use these for my daily commute. Far safer than headphones.

I think the isolating (ear plugs) are totally overated. I've just bought senheiser ones for the iPhone and I've had some high end ones in the past. Unless you like hearing yourself chew, swallow, walk etc I'd steer clear.
This is totally unfashionable but I think the apple ones are alright. And I have Grados for comparison!
Thanks for that - i'm with you on that one ton - what was i thinking wanting to get better lights for night riding!?!
don't tend to do much on road, so traffic noise isn't an issue - its going down a hill fast and all i hear is wind!
will have a look at your recommendations - thanks!
I ride on road with headphones in, depends on when and where, but it's not the death sentence that some folk would have you believe. Couple of my friends are stone deaf, they manage just fine.
think i will go for the Sennheiser MM50 iP - i ride to enjoy myself and music can make it better with a good tune. diesels just arent that classical mix i listen to..... ๐
