Just done a full service on my Monarch plus debonair and when I stripped it down to bleed I noticed wear marks on the inside of the damper body. Anyone have any ideas what could have caused this?

Thats normal, it's just RS's standard anodising.

Rick, what do you mean it’s normal? The replacement one I’ve got doesn’t look like that.
I don’t get what could cause it, the oldy thing in there is the tune assembly.

New ones can look exactly like that, it's not wear its just poor anodising.
