Good article, worth reading. The World needs more nutters
Alps 4000 (all in one season, by bike) by Martin Moran and Simon Jenkin, springs to mind. Mind you their wives towed all their climbing stuff around in a van.
Those bob trailers look ace

Goran Kropp - that guy is a total and utter legend.
Hard as nails by the sound of it, rode all the way from Sweden to Everest with his kit and climbed it independently without oxygen. Turned around on the first attempt, did it on the second.
And climbed a lot of other peaks in the same style before that.
