Sadly have some play developed in my lower linkage bearings, could be slight wear in the uppers as well, can anyone who has replaced these bearings offer any advice ? if anyone has the bearing numbers I can order the bearings without having to strip the old ones out and put the bike out of action. Have emailed Intense but they are a bit slow in getting back to me.
cheers Andy

The bearing numbers will be written on the bearings (the black bit).
I got some SKS bearings from a local eng firm (Eriks). I hammered the old ones out but you'll need some kind of press to fit the new ones, I made on with some threaded bar, washers and nuts (M12). Still difficult though and a proper press would be much better.
Intense are disappontingly shocking, don't expect a reply any time soon. Better off trying extra UK. They're pretty good. Good luck.

Hi Andrew, when I took the linkage off and had look at the bearings, on mine the outer seals are metal, unfortunately they have none of the bearing numbers ushally found on the rubber seals, will have to use a make up a press as you surgested but looks like I will have to remove the old bearings to get the size, at least I now know I can get them from a local bearing supplier as you did.
thanks for the help.
cheers Andy

Hi Andy,
That's not my mail but the tech bloke at extra UK (UK distributors for Intense). He's very helpful so it's worth giving him a shout.
