[Closed] Integrated tools like swat

Was looking at some by Topeak the other day. Pump that fits in the seat tube, that sort of thing. Looks pretty good.

Do the specialised ones fit non specialised bikes?

For example;

I have one of the MTB SWAT cages for sale in the classifieds. If anyone is looking to try one.

I've got a Pedro's tulio qr on my bike, has most tools you'd need on a ride, and impossible to forget! Obviously, you need to have a qr back wheel (or 135mm front on a fatty) for it to work. Never used in anger yet, but tools look OK.

If you google Topeak Ninja they do a range of stuff similar to the SWAT tools.

specialized do a steerer expander plug (carbon and alloy steerer options) that has an integrated chain breaker inside. Quite fancy one but £25 per bike is a bit of an expense.

I am quite surprised how little choice there is in bottle cage or frame mount multi-tool holders. A little tool box with a clip in multi-tool and space for tyre patches, anchovies etc would make life a lot easier.

I've got a Cool Tool seat post quick release & chain breaker in the seat post.
Just in case.

I've modified an old water bottle to carry my tools and a spare tube or two. I just pop it into a bottle cage 8)

Last Christmas got one of the Specialized chain breakers that fits inside the steerer and replaces the top cap. Stores a quick links as well.

Looks like a normal top cap but opens up to perform like this when removed with an allen key (see pics in review):

What if you want/need to carry more than one bottle?

I've got a chain tool top cap. Very tidy, never used in anger though!

I quite like the challenge of hiding stuff on the bike.

Pump velcro's to the bottom of the bottle cage, chain links taped in the hollow on the back of the brake levers, tube taped between saddle rails. Only thing I've not managed to hide properly is a multi tool, could go under the stem I suppose, or just accept a saddle bag.

I use an Elite one that will take a Lezyne pump. I also have the Decathlon bottles which have a tube, spanner (fixed wheel) and CO2. A Hexus II is all the tool I need, along with a spare chain link. If I'm paranoid I take instant patches.
