Looking into getting some specialist bike insurance - any suggestions? The few sites I've tried have been coming in at over £30 per month, which is more than I was expecting. Is this about average? I'm not looking for public liability cover - just theft and accidental damage.

The usual suggestion is to move your contents insurance to M&S which covers bikes (and other items) up to £4k for each item.

Specialist bike insurance is around 10% of the bike's value per year + they have a lot of conditions in the small print, hence why everyone usually recommends doing it under home contents.
