I remember hearing a news article on the radio about a year ago to do with changes to insurance practices.
Basically it was saying that it was going to become the Insurer prerogative to insure the information about the Insuree was up to date, rather than the Insuree responsibly to inform the Insurer.
Does any one know if this change happened ?

Seems odd - how can the Insurer have this duty re facts outside its knowledge?
I'm aware of LC proposals to bar voiding of policies/claims where any misrepresentation has not ben material to claim.
