[Closed] insurance for taking bike on a plane

hi guys
want to take the bike on hol but not sure what to do about insurance for taking it on the plane.

also road or mtb in ibiza?

are you not just covered by your normal holiday insurance? Have you flown with a bike before? we have flown bikes every year somewhere for the last 8 years we haven't had any problems. Pack them down, bubble wrap, pipe lagging and some extra cardboard, seen them ddropped off conveyor belt but they've been fine as we have protected them so well.

yeah checked hol insurance and def not covered which is a shame, if i was going sking they would be covered though 🙄

You have a claim against the airline if the bike is damaged. I have successfully claimed fora damaged bike. NO need for insurance

M&S with Sports cover plus included is £16. I don't know why people pay £30-40 for 'specialist' insurance.
