Hi
does anyone have any advice for the best form of insurance for posting a bike?

Same as posting any other parcel? I.e. what the courier service offer? Normally will cover up to hundreds at least. For a bike worth more I'd be prepared to pay the train fare and DIY it personally...

I've sent a few bikes. Always use [url= http://www.senditnow.com/ ]these people[/url] who send parcels with Parcelforce. They pick up from your house (or work) and you can insure the parcel up to £2400 I think. I've sent frames insured for £600 and I think it cost me £25.99 last time for 48 hour delivery.

Never had a problem with them.
