[#838969]

Prompted by the recent grim weather, I've been taking stock of my winter riding kit. Probably have an itchy credit card too, if I'm honest.

I'm looking for something windproof and lightly (or very lightly) insulated, with a decent cycling specific - or otherwise appropriate - cut.

Have a Montane already, but I think it's just too flappy and warm most of the time, although it makes a great tea-stop jacket.

Suggestions, advice and so on, please.

second the Baked Alaska. Or a Ristretto, under your normal cycling gear

I'd go light and layers as you suggest. I saw a de marchi one recently for £50 that looked v good - windproof front and arms, resr more breathable. Very roadie though. I have a Puma running on that is good.

Hmm... Baked Alaska is one I'd considered. Price is sensible too. Nice long zip for when I get sweaty (it's inevitable).
Al, I'll have to look into that, cheers.
