Anyone got any recommendations for an insulated flask that can be stored in a bottle cage?

I was going to get one of the Trail42 ones but the order didn't process properly and they are now sold out so any alternatives welcome!

Think it's a bit too tall for my frame unfortunately.

Lucky escape perhaps. My trail 42 stopped keeping my coffee warm for long about a month or two after I got it.

As it happens I bought a Thermos flask today that fits standard bottle cages, Well to be more exact, it fits *some* bottle cages, namely a Bontrager and Spesh side cage but not the standard wired cages I have. I got the shop to measure it before I bought it (and checked bottle cage sizes online), it's even got an indentation at the right point to catch the top part of the cage. 0.47L in size, here's a link

You could try a bikebuddy cage instead as they work with almost any thermos

I've been using a Punc stainless steel water bottle off the bike. They sell an insulated version too.

Just tried my 500ml bottle in a King cage and fits perfectly. The insulated version is a different shape though, perhaps they have measurements on the website somewhere.

I have recently spent more time than I care to admit researching this. I decided one of these would be perfect. I took delivery this week, not tested it yet but it claims to keep hot for 8 hours and is a perfect fit in specialized and blackburn cages.

Contigo mugs stay sealed, keep drink warm for bloody ages and fit well in a bottle cage.
I took a pic a while back for someone on here (molgrips, perhaps)....
I'll see if I can find it...

Thanks all, much appreciated!

Already got a couple of Elite cages and would rather not swap so I'll double check measurements and take a punt.

The life adventure thermos mugs are excellent and they say there perfect fit for bottle cages to. I haven't tried one in a cage as yet but it's a really good thermos mug

have the thermos stainless king as whitestone mentioned above since last winter...
it is slightly bigger than the standard flasks, (75mm thats 1 mm more than standard)..
but fits perfect in my cheap no-name cage and holds the heat quite well

I have a Stanley Mountain Series flask that fits in a bottle cage, had it for a few years, one handed operation and has a grit guard, works well and keeps a drink hot for some hours.
I think the Switchback has replaced it?

Someone asked me for an xmas list and I was going to put the trail42 pack flask one but they're out of stock

So This afternoon I bodged one by taking an existing flask, an Aladdin mug style flask (unscrew lid and drink straight from it), I have about half a dozen flasks of differing types, put a bit of inner tube round it, then wrapped it in duct tape. Fits a bottle cage nicely now, haven't taken it out yet though

I have a contigo too, but thought the curvy shape wouldn't be that stable in the cages I have (also easy for mud to get into the spout bit

So I ended up getting a life adventure one.
Looks good to me and fits easily in the bottle cage although i;d say it might be a bit loose for rough stuff so I think I'll probably have to still bodge it a bit to get a secure fit for the mountain bike.

Thanks for all the replies!
