Steve stunts and I have wangled a morning pass, which south lakes route 20 miles ish 2 hours ish. Not Grizedale. Got half a plan but thought someone might blow my mind with an off the wall suggestion. Not ormsgill Slag heaps either.

Mmmmm. Might hit the rose gardens and then schRalp gill bogs.
Couple of lads digging up the jumps on Sunday David, they're looking in good order. Unlike the footpath down which has been forest machine shredded.

I've not been up there for a while; was wanting to get some night digging done this winter but it never happened 🙁
Yeh, the forest machinery has caused a bit of carnage, although the parking area now looks to be covered in chippings which is better than the mud bath it once was.
There used to be some cool little tracks in the woods a bit past the jumps on the left hand side where all the deer fencing is.
Also, a sensible suggestion for tomorrow; Blawith common!
