[#3777639]

I couldn't find anything on here by searching though it must have been covered.

Single rooms seem to be non-existent but I'm looking for B&B or bunkhouse accomm in Innerleithen mid April for one night for one as I'm meeting up with a group (who have filled their establishment) to cycle to Edinburgh.

Nothing comes up on the usual websites. Does anyone know of any suitable places? Don't need top notch as I'll just be sleeping there, socialising in the town otherwise.

We stayed here last year:

Very hospitable and excellent breakfast. 5 min's walk into centre of Innerleithen.

Alison is really friendly, they have a lock up for the bikes and a hose for cleaning. Breakfast is awesome too.

We've stayed at Innerhaven a couple of times - not cheap but well worth it. Really nice place with secure bike storage and drying room. Also route advice on tap courtesy of Andy and Aneela McKenna.

We stayed at Peebles a couple of times. Only 10 - 15 mins drive from inners. Lots of nice Hotels & B & B's

If it's budget accommodation you are looking for and don't mind sharing the breakfast table with truckies, the Corner House does room and B & B for £35 I believe.

Bit OTT booking Innerhaven for 1 night for 1 person!

For living it up a touch, the Tontine in Peebles is excellent. MUCH better than the Hydro.

Or, on the road north out of Peebles, about a mile out the town on the right hand side is a B&B and holiday cottages. Can't remember the name but bike friendly and cheapish.

Thanks guys but..............Glede Knowe booked out by the folk I'm meeting, don't really want to be above a bar that goes on 'til all hours (I've suffered that before) and while Peebles obviously has more places I've no intention of cycling back there after a night of socialising in Innerleithen, especially if it is peeing down.

I've got a booking for here http://www.bunk-house.co.uk/ in May.

Can't tell you what it's like as I haven't stayed there before but looks like it might suit your needs.
