Anyone racing this weekend, I'm hedging my bets due to the conditions. Will probably go down on Sunday regardless and skip the sat practice.
Not sure they'll be able to run it if there's not a big thaw, vehicle access for the crew will be dicey just now... Fingers crossed. I didn't enjoy doing the stages blind last time so hoping to get some practice in (not that it'll make that much difference to the results 😉 But at least I'll not pedal like **** on a descent, immediately before a horrible climb...)
Im entered, looking forward to it, but waiting with baited breath, sat at home this weekend as Pearce race was called off and ski tow is storm bound 🙁
I reckon this has got zero chance, unfortunately.
I dunno, long term forecast looks ok for the race IMO
Just saw an update on Facebook that they are working on contingency plans which are either shortening the course, postponement or just going ahead with the event. Safety for the Marshall's and riders will be the deciding factor I reckon.
Safety of riders and marshals is always top consideration !
