[Closed] Injury Recovery - broken trapezium

Hi folks,

Stupid fall, hands outstretched and full weight when I landed! Cue a trip to Casualty due to the pain below my thumb. X ray confirmed a fracture of the trapezium. Only seen a nurse practitioner at this stage and wrist is in a full hard cast. Waiting on ortho doc to view the x rays and an appointment with fracture clinic.

I’m supposed to be going to Ciclo Montana in the Spain on the 7th of September for a week of rocky fun. F@@@@@@@ck

Anybody an idea of cast protocol and recovery time? Any tips for a speedy recovery. Milk?

Or should I accept the trip is lost?
