Anyone got a pair? How are they in terms of versatility and weight? Was thinking about getting a pair of wheels built up on king hubs but the king iso front hub only comes in qr-15mm or 15-20mm flavours. Where it seems the I9 can take all 3 variants. Really like the look of their factory wheels but am a bit iffy about their proprietry spoke system. How strong are the spokes? Do they come with replacements? Basically are you likely to break them & will it be an expensive nightmare replacing them if you do?

I've had one set for just under 4 years and second pair for two years.

The first I've pair; I had problems with the axle and freehub, replaced FOC with an updated version. Also snapped one spoke and changed the bearings once.

Second pair I've only snapped one spoke, when the rear mech went into the wheel, otherwise trouble free.

I got 3 spare spokes with each set.

Since that thread both my i9 freehubs have cracked!!!

i9 said it was a bad batch of aluminium and are sending me two freehubs FOC

I'm selling my pair on brand new stans arch rims, all black except for two red spokes either side of the valve. They weigh about 1550g for the pair. yours for 350 pounds plus postage.
