Anyone know what the deal is with increasing a 130mm travel Fox 34? Possible to go up to a 140/150mm with internal changes or not?
Cheers!

You need to replace the airshaft but yes should be fine. 160 max for 650b IIRC

My forks are 2016 650b floats and last week I increased them from 150mm to 160mm . I assume they'll be the same as yours internally . Took me about 20 mins . The air shaft assembly was about £38 from mojo and that's all I needed to do it .

If it's a performance fork with the GRIP damper then you will need fox 5wt teflon oil for the damper side and 20wt gold oil for the airshaft side, apart from that it's just an easy airshaft swap.

Has anyone gone from 120mm upwardson the fox 34?. According to fox they recommend a damper change... is that an absolute or have I misread something?
