i own a Rock shox Lyrik ultimate 160mm 2.1 RC2 from 2019
will this up the travel to 170mm, and let it ride higher in its travel ???

Yes on both counts, but do you actually want more travel, or do you just want it to sit higher? The 2021 springs sit higher, even at the same travel, so you might actually just want the upgrade parts. You can modify your current air spring to effectively turn it into a 2021 model.

More travel is nearly always better. Most head angles are too steep anyway, and the few mms added to bb height are negligible.
