[Closed] Inbred sanity check: SLX 10spd

Hey guys, long time reader but new forum member. Just need a quick sanity check on modern kit (been out of it for 10 years!) Grateful for any advice.

Picked up a pre-CEN Inbred in the sale this week. I was going to do a mix of Deore/XT drivetrain but can see some great deals on SLX 10spd for not much more. Ignoring the "what is SLX for?" debate for a sec., can you forsee any frame clearance issues at either end with this setup? (i.e. 30spd SLX.) Any gotchas - I see people sometimes winge about chainrings clearing the chainstays on these frames???

I don't need SLX but I work in a techie field so it will annoy me not to attempt to be future-proof; basic research suggest mixing Deore front end w/SLX 10 rear would be a massive no-no?
