Thinking of selling my on-one inbred frame if I can find a replacement for it (08 trance). A commuter is interested but could it use Kona P2 rigid forks? They have 440mm axle - crown and don't know if this would make it near unrideable?
Thanks

am thinking sameish - want a rigid geared bike for sh1ts and kicks and have a 456 lying around. not going to try my current 440 fork on it as its a king headset and a pain getting that race off after a quick test. hope you get a reply with an answer in, but yes nice question

isn't 440 equivalent to 100mm fork?

which is at the 4 end of 456 and so shoudl be fine for road riding?

I rode a 440 rigid on my 456, it was fine. Better than fine even.

off road no bother. It started life with a 100mm MXcomp, then an All Moutain SL. The AMSL was fine in 130mm but felt a dog at 150 on steep climbs

440 is perfect for the various 5"ish travel inbred/456s
