I'm 5'10.5 with normal legs and arms.

Here in lies the problem.

I have a Brooks b17 on the inbred with a 50mm zero degree rise stem attached to 800mm bars.

I have tweaked the stem height and saddle height but i still find that i'm hunched over and i keep having to adjust my butt a little further forward on the saddle to get that brooks comfort. It feels cramped.

Today I wacked a 120mm stem on and It drastically improved the situation but its still not ideal. I keep wanting to stretch out even further for a more racy ride.

What the hell is going on with me. I'm after setting the bike up as a world tourer. Urgent help required before i go nuts.

Change seatpost to one with more layback? May get the saddle further back relative to your butt and stop you moving forward on the saddle into a slightly cramped position.

Assuming the Brooks is comfortable on another bike and you don't need to play with the saddle angle instead.

Not much help, but here are two On One inbred Tourers

[img] [/img]

Both 26" wheeled inbreds, but mine with 700c wheels in it. (no clearance for big tyres at the rear though)

due to the low stack at the front, and the constant weight on the hands, ive swapped to a Surly Disk trucker. Jose had her Inbred nicked, so now has a 456 built up identically (just because we couldn't get hold of an inbred at the time)
