Rightly or wrongly, got talked (by my boss no less) into actually upgrading to a plastic bike! Been looking at new road bikes for a little while, mainly considering better specced ally ones (believing it might be tougher for the kind of use I'll give it including commuting to work), but well... Sod it! I'm getting one of these...

Can't wait to get it and get out on it now, will be my first time on a half decent full carbon bike for more than just a quick spin. Really impressed with the 2013 Merida bikes in general too, they've really moved things forwards over last seasons bikes, perhaps a big influence in Team Lampre deciding to ditch Wilier for them? Who knows... I probably beat get a cheap hack bike now for getting to work on rather than subject the new bike to the daily grind!
Nowt wrong with Tupperware bikes.
Mudguards will spoil the look 😉
Was thinking I would add a rack and panniers to improve the look al! 😉
