Is there a STW STRAVA group of sorts?

I'm bored of stalking my 2 random buddies and looking for inspiration.

Bonus points for bimblers.

There is one. It's not great though as it's full of people riding in better places than me, usually.

If you want to stalk people in the same area as you maybe try local bike shop groups. Where on the south coast are you? I ride mostly in the Worthing and Brighton areas if you want to stalk me (and be stalked by me ๐Ÿ˜ )

There's a bloke who follows me on Strava who gives kudos on *everything*

I ended up doing a walk that went slowly from a car park into the woods, hung round for a bit and then quicker back to the car and called it 'Burying the Body' - he gave me kudos.

Got one (or two) of those. ๐Ÿ™„

Generally I'll only give kudos is someone I follow does something out of the ordinary for them. However there was one club member who accidentally logged a ride from club meeting point across the car park to the cafe, all of 50 metres - so we all gave him kudos for that! ๐Ÿ˜†

I've got a friend of a friend, and very occasional riding mate who does that.

I'm not making this up, I've had Kudos notifications from him before the notification to say it's been uploaded, he also likes them on FB.

He's a nice guy, a bit odd (my Friend reckons he's due a Carers Allowance for him) but very keen.

I've been tempted to call him sometimes when he's not given me Kudos within 30 mins, just to make sure he's okay, but I don't think he'd get the joke and worry about it.

I joined the STW group a bit earlier after reading this thread, but I'm not looking for kudos/followers etc. and I'm not used to following/kudosing others. ๐Ÿ˜‰

I only started Strava last September, when after ~8 months of having my Nexus tablet, I discovered it could do Strava. To begin with, it was simply a record of my direct commutes, since 2017 it now includes going out for the sake of simply getting outdoors and trying to get fit again.

More than anything, Strava appeals to my inner sporty geekness, having some some of record of what I've done. Back in the mid 1990s, I used to have a hand-written record of my 50+ snooker breaks, I still remember my 79 off 10 reds when I missed a rest shot for an easy first ever century! ๐Ÿ˜†

Earlier ride: Why cycle ~0.5 miles to Co-Op and back, when you can do a couple of 1.3 mile loops with a rucksack on your back and then get the shopping? ๐Ÿ˜ˆ

I'm a Brighton rider and own no lycra nor a road bike - threehatsal on Strava.

I ride most days but I appear to have lost the key to my huge bike lock and have no idea where the spare is. I have a horrible feeling I have a session with an angle grinder and worse ahead of me...

You'll need to log that as a manual activity.

Log everything! And go and ride your bike (possibly once this rain passes), to make up for me being unable to until I manage to break my bikes out... ๐Ÿ™
