[#4534316]

Recent events combined with something I've just spotted, and I can see, like a map, 2 paths in front of me. It's bizzarre. One is an easy path, I can just sit and wait, but I don't want to take that path. I won't be happy if that pans out the way it might
The other path is one I've dreamed of for literally years now but it's not easy. There's things in my way, some of these things I cannot control, but I have to at least set the satnav to that destination today, so to speak.... I have to.

I'm literally sitting here shaking and welling up with emotion. It's notthing bad, it's all good, but today it starts, this could be it. I've just put the postcde in.....

Sorry. Very vague I know. Keeping my cards close to my chest, the people that are involved already know. ๐Ÿ™‚

Good luck PP,

My experience with making a choice like this, is they tend not to be as bad, or as hard as you first think they might be.

I was walking along this narrow mountain pass - so narrow that nobody else could pass you, when I saw a beautiful blonde walking towards me. A beautiful blonde with not a stitch on, yes, not a stitch on, lady. Cor blimey, I didn't know whether to toss myself off or block her passage.

In that case,as jimmy Carr said, if you're at a junction with two choices, that's a T junction not a crossroads ๐Ÿ˜‰

Good luck.

Most likely a Y-junction I'd say.

I had similar about 2 1/2 years ago. Stay where I was and it all carries on as it had for the previous 9 years.
OR
Change jobs, some risk involved as it was an unknown quanitity at the time. But better money, better prospects much closer to home.

I chose the latter and it turned out to be 100% the right choice.
(The old job was dissolved and the company also moved to a much less convenvient location which would have increased my travelling costs and time by quite a margin).

Think carefully, weight up the odds and go for it!

Doing nothing? Nothing changes!

I think Robert Frost is telling you what to do:

I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I,
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

If you don't choose soon the traffic behind will be annoyed.

What does the satnav say?

One is an easy path, I can just sit and wait, but I don't want to take that path. I won't be happy if that pans out the way it might
The other path is one I've dreamed of for literally years now but it's not easy.

Seriously it sounds like you've already made the choice and the question is simply are you brave enough to follow through on it.

Njee, I've made my choice. I made it years ago. I just need the planets to converge and a favourable wind. ๐Ÿ™‚

LOL!
Er, no. For sure.

I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I,
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

That's it. Whichever way it goes.

I think we have talked about this .
If I'm right , go with it as you will never know if you don't try ( and do not play at it , give it 100% from the get go ) and it will always be a niggle in the back of your mind if you dont.

If Im wrong , Go with the custard creams .

You only live once but can die a thousand different ways.

The trick is to choose an obscure, niche way of dying so it is less likely to happen.

It is what I have done and I appear to be immortal (so far).

I just need to avoid juggling dwarves on yaks and I should be safe for a few more years.

It's better to have loved and lost than to have listened to an album by Olivia Newton John.
