Why if it's not raining?
Just a dislike for getting wet or is it a deathtrap in the wet.
Interested as im there later this week.

Good question.

Grizdale was OK in the wet.

I find that Whinlatter is best when it is actually raining, or when it has been dry for months.

At all other times there is an "exciting" amount of grip. Its ace.

superdan is right on best conditions - it'll be less than grippy in parts tomorrow - a bit like 'real' trails then.

Rode it in the wet on Sat. Loved it as usual.

One or two slippy roots and rocks but thats surely not a bad thing ๐Ÿ˜‰

I'm around depending on time. Possibly not the forum big-hitter you were hoping for though! ๐Ÿ˜€

Whats a "forum big-hitter"

Me and the GF did Whinlatter today. The Altura North trail and the Quercus Trail twice (which is great BTW)

I'll sort some pix out.
